Eve was born to Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. Jack George and Jack George are her two brothers. They were raised in both and the United Kingdom as well as Los Angeles. She attended Bedales School, and took A-Levels at the London's Westminster School. Following a gap year she went to the Beverly Hills Playhouse before studying English at St Catherine's College Oxford. The student actress was in productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers, Scenes from an Execution (which was staged to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and The Colour of Justice while studying at Oxford. Eve is well-known for her role in the BBC TV series The Rotters Club Poirot, Hawking and Stage Beauty. Eve played significant roles in two films from 2006: Starter for 10 and Big Nothing (with both she and co-star Simon Pegg using American accents). The beginning of 2006, she stayed the year in India to develop losing Gemma which is a mini-series of backpackers. Eve was in Trevor Nunn's two stage productions. In 2006, she appeared on stage in Rock n Roll a new production created by Tom Stoppard at the Royal Court Theatre and was back in her part in 2007's Broadway transfer. She was born into a family of mixed races, having and Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent as well as the Irish born Irish maternal grandmother Nora Downey. The English actress is a middle child. She has an older brother known as Jason Mitra and a younger brother named Guyan Mitra. Her younger brother Guyan Mitra is well-known travel writer whose work is featured within Lonely Planet as well as The Sunday Times.
