Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th, 1962. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is both an actress as well as an author. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable films made by high school students ever made. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed more than $50 million. In the course of appearing on CBS Schoolbreak, which was her first appearance on TV. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was a part of. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she appears in a cameo. Sheedy won numerous awards in 2005 for her performance. She also was honored by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
